Posted in DVD on 07/26/2011 by sharonwong

A movie that was more of a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ in theaters is this week’s one and only DVD/Blu-ray release.  Worth a watch?  You’ll just have to see for yourself.

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011) on DVD and Blu-ray.  Starring Brandon Routh (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), Sam Huntington (TV’s Being Human), Anita Briem (Journey to the Center of the Earth [2008]), Peter Stormare (The Divide) and Taye Diggs (TV’s Private Practice).  Written by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (both of Conan the Barbarian [2011]).  Directed by Kevin Munroe (TMNT).

Based on Italian comics and novel writer Tiziano Sclavi’s comic book series, Dylan Dog, the comedy/horror/mystery Dylan Dog: Dead of Night is more like Dylan Dud as it is one of 2011’s biggest bombs. Continue reading
